REVIEW | Carbon Laser Premier Clinic

Saturday, March 12, 2016

Assalamualaikum and hye!

It has been a long time I haven’t update my blog since I am quite busy enjoying my life at Pharmaniaga... kehkeh =p ... So , today I wanna share with you guys my first time ever trying this carbon laser peel treatment at Premier Clinic !!

As usual, before the treatment started, the customer must sign a written agreement before the Rx start. If you guys do not agree to undergo the treatment, no need to sign la okay. Who knows, suddenly you guys want to cancel the treatment (Rx) last minute. Haha =p

Actually me too a little bit afraid of doing this laser treatment since I've read quite a lot of “pantang larang” and the adverse effects about it. But, thanks to all Premier Clinic staff especially Aliza for keep supporting me and coax me until the Rx finished!

It was like coaxing a kid to seek a Doctor. XD “it’s okay, it wouldn’t cause any pain” and each time she started a new step, she would ask me whether I’m ok or not. Same goes to Doctor Aarthi Maria. They are very concern about their customers and I love their services!

Orite, enough with the intro xD…. So let’s zasss!

The Rx started by cleansing the face followed by applying numbness cream and carbon layer to the whole face. I like the moment when Aliza applying something cool on my face using sonic probe I guess before applying the cream.  This numbness cream is to reduce the pain later when the laser hit the face.

After almost 15 minutes, Aliza called Dr. Aarthi to start the laser Rx and my heart was beating fast! I was so nervous and Aliza kept telling me “It’s okay, It won’t hurt you” Fuhh! Dr Aarthi also kept asking me, “Are you okay?“ Until the end of the process! Hahaha! After that , LED light was use for healing process just after the laser treatment.

Alhamdulillah everything went well and I am so excited to see my face! Muahahah! Honestly, I don’t feel any pain at all, it’s just the noisy sound and “pop” sound that interfere your feelings but overall it’s okay lah! Heheh…

The whole process took about 1 hour and the effects depends on your skin type. For me, everything was okay and I love the smooth and glowing effects after the Rx!! Here’s my face after 3 days of Rx. No filter with 8 MP camera.. Just apply sunblock ;)

I followed everything Dr Aarthi and Aliza told me:

-Don’t wash your face with any cleansing facewash/ apply any cosmetic products because it might contain chemicals that might cause irritation to your skin face after the Rx. The next day I just clean my face as usual and it’s okay. I don’t experience any side effect.

-Apply moisturizer and sunblock with SPF 30 or more.

-Do not expose yourself above direct sunlight for 3-4 days and depends on your skin. Sometimes few days already tolerable and some might need longer time

After undergoing Fractional CO2 Laser treatment, you guys will experience periods of downtime and it depends on every person. Some might experience longer downtime periods and some might be shorter.

For me, Alhamdulillah I don’t feel any unwanted effects on my skin face maybe because I did the Rx on Friday evening where the weather is cloudy and windy. I’m on my leave for Saturday and Sunday so I just stay at home so that I would not expose myself to direct sunlight. Some might experience these adverse effects:
1 ) Face flushed. (In 3 -4 days )
2 ) Face feels slightly warm . (In 1 -2 days )
3 ) Facial exfoliation intangible suffered greatly . (In 1-7 days )

So, that’s all for today… Tomorrow got Fire Extinguisher Training!! So, don’t forget to follow me on Instagram @shiqinsunshine to follow my updates on this treatment!!
Special thanx to Kay Tan for inviting me and thanks to Dr Aarthi Maria ( ) and Premier Clinic staff who have provided a good service during the treatment session! Any info regarding Facial Fractional CO2 Laser in the Premier Clinic, just refer to the following details okayh ;) Don’t forget to have a look at other reviews too!!
